Annual Performance - Chochukmo Relaunch！

2009年入選CNNGo的「香港二十位必要看的人物」､被時代雜誌評為「可能是近年在南中國冒起，最有魅力的樂隊」CHOCHUKMO 一直都是香港INDIE界最為耀目的一股搖滾勢力。

...Chochukmo於去年中國巡演後宣佈解散。經過一年多的時間，樂隊終於重組，並於10月15日率先在樂隊的STUDIO來一場網上ustream live暖身。（詳情請至 http://www.facebook.com/chochukmo)

而萬眾期待的復出LIVE “RELAUNCH” 將由CityU BandSoc 呈獻！於2011年11月11日西灣河蒲吧舉行 ！

同場會邀請兩支來自CITYU BANDSOC 的新力軍﹣ The White Wave(Shoegaze,dream-pop) 及Life Was All Silence(post-rock/instrumental)，作為暖場樂隊。

我們還有幸邀請到來自台灣的特別嘉賓三人搖滾團 My Skin Against Your Skin！

The best local indie rock band Chochukmo return !

CityU Band Society proudly presents the reunion live gig "Relaunch" for Chochukmo on 2011.11.11 at HangOut, Sai Wan Ho.

Being selected as the “Top 20 Hong Kong Musicians” by Time Out Hong Kong and described as “the most charismatic band to have emerged in southern China in recent years” by TIME Magazine, Chochukmo have broken so many Hong Kong indie lovers' hearts when they made an announcement of dismission in the summer of 2010.

1 year later, today, Chochukmo's reunion has excited so many fans and people who have not made it to see their live performance before ! But the time has come ! After their first ustream live taking place at their studio on 10.15, the band will rock the house with their explosive energy and unique sound on the very special date of 2011.11.11 !

We are honored to announce that we'll have a very special guest from Taiwan "My Skin Against Your Skin", a three-piece rock band, to be a part of the marvelous line-up!

Moreover, a very young group of shoegazers "The White Wave" , instrumental/post rock 3-piece band "Life Was All Silence" , both from CityU Band Society, will definitely show their high potentiality and creativity on music as the warm-up bands for the headline.

觸執毛 (Chochukmo) 是來自香港的五人獨立搖滾樂隊。自2005年夏天，各成員將各自的創意投進觸執毛，並在2008年初組成了現在的陣容。各成員對音樂的不同喜好和天馬行空的想法，造就了觸執毛愛玩和大膽創新的音樂風格。抱著「要與眾不同」的想法，觸執毛經常把不同的音樂元素如Jazz、Bossa nova、Funk、Dance等混進搖滾，喜愛把毫無關係的東西拼揍起來，五人一起快樂地做他們的搖滾實驗。

觸執毛亦參與了多個本地的音樂節，包括Jam Fest、Rockraiser Festival和作為Clockenflap的本地頭條樂隊。除了本地的演出外，觸執毛還到過菲律賓及馬來西亞等地作巡迴演出，並獲得當地傳媒的正面評價。2010年8月，觸執毛更首次進軍中國，到訪了包括北京、武漢、上海等9個城市作巡迴演出。

在2008年，觸執毛被Time Out Hong Kong雜誌選為「香港二十大音樂人」，在2009年更入選CNNGo的「香港二十位必要看的人物」，更被時代雜誌評為「可能是近年在南中國冒起，最有魅力的樂隊」。在2010年，時代雜誌更刊登了樂隊首張專輯「The King Lost His Pink」的碟評。

Chochukmo is a 5-piece indie rock band based in Hong Kong, China. The members of the band have started contributing their talents and innovations into their music since the summer of 2005, with the current inventive line-up coming into their own in the spring of 2008. With the chemistry triggered by different musical interests and thoughts, Chochukmo has been claimed to have created a unique style of their own. With the playful minds and the courages of pushing to limits, they experiment rock music with different elements from jazz to punk, from bossa nova to dance. The band is known for their passionate and energetic live performance, and the richness in elements delivered in their music.

Chochukmo has been participating in various music festivals happening in the city, namely Jam Fest, Rockraiser Festival, as well as the well-acclaimed Clockenflap. Except local showcases, Chochukmo has been touring to Manila, Philippines and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, receiving positive reviews from the local media. In August 2010, they've launched a China tour which they visited 9 cities, namely Beijing, Wuhan and Shanghai.

Chochukmo has been selected as the “Top 20 Hong Kong Musicians” by Time Out Hong Kong in 2008, has been described as “the most charismatic band to have emerged in southern China in recent years” by TIME Magazine, and has been included in “The Hong Kong Hot List: 20 people to watch” by CNNGo in 2009. Their debut album "The King Lost His Pink" has been as well reviewed by TIME Magazine in 2010.

一個女主唱，一把貝斯，一個鼓，沒有合成器，台北的三人搖滾樂團。

今年剛受邀至加拿大音樂季NXNE及中國迷笛音樂節演出後，緊接著又前往日本巡迴的My Skin Against Your Skin (MSAYS)，是一支被歸類為藝術搖滾的三人樂隊，加拿大當地報導形容MSAYS的靈魂吸收著龐克搖滾最細微的地方，現場的樂迷比起手中的啤酒來說，反而還要更投入他們的音樂。更有其他加拿大樂評形容女主唱 安卓雅 是天生的Rock Star，舞台張力十足，令人驚訝的是巨大的聲響僅由貝斯與鼓發出！

My Skin Against Your Skin從Punk、Grunge、迷幻、前衛到另類等音樂風格中，找出傳統架構外的新解放。在2010年初樂團成員到齊後的這一年，他們在短短時間裡站上了台灣各大音樂節，例如: 春天吶喊、大港開唱、搖滾台中樂團節…等等，年底時也受邀至香港參加Asia Live Case演出。並於2011年受邀至加拿大NXNE音樂季、中國迷笛音樂節及日本巡迴演出。

My Skin Against Your Skin is a Taiwanese three-piece post punk/garage rock revival based in Taipei. The line-up of the band consists of Andrea Huang (singer) Yu Si Lu (bassist) and drummer. They formed and had been welcomed to perform in Hong Kong in one year. This year, they have played at NXNE, which is the second largest festival in all of North America, they were categorized Art Rock. A Canadian writer described MSAYS as having absorbed every punk rock nuance. People who attended their shows seemed to be more focused on the music than their beer, which was a good sign in a way. In August 2011, they've played at the famous Midi Music Festival in China, and a tour in Japan.

Life was All Silence 是一支純音樂的樂隊。成員由低音結他手Leaf,鍵盤手Frank,鼓手Travis組成。樂隊始於一些即興,Lo-fi的錄音，並融合了電子等風格，使用Loop pedals,sansula等器材作現場演出。

樂隊於2009年秋天於自家排練室即興創作，從而決定了樂隊重視氛圍而簡約的音樂風格。

曾為Arms and Sleepers及台灣的Post-Punk樂團馬克白等擔任暖場樂隊。

Life Was All Silence is an instrumental band composed of Leaf on bass guitar, Frank on keyboard and Travis on drum. Starting with lo-fi, improvised home recordings, the trio blends live instrumentation with electro-acoustic, incorporate electronics, loop pedals, sansula, LWAS creates metronomic sound with subtle changes in beat and rhythm.

During the downtime in the fall of 2009, three members began improvising in their studio and came to an idea to play something atmospheric and minimal. LWAS caught attention from opening slot for Arms and Sleepers and Macbeth. Absent in vocalist, guitarist, the trio liberate spacious and expansive soundscape. Melancholic, fragile and emotional charged live performance brings audience a spiritual music journey.
