Behind every picture is always a photographer, and that relationship shapes the photograph a lot. This photo was taken in New York by my husband @briflys shortly after we had woken up. He was about to rush off to a meeting, and I hadn't even washed my face yet. I loved the window view of the place and figured it would make a nice backdrop to me and my iPad, which I use frequently to read scripts. Twenty seconds is all it took. I probably would never have gotten an image like this had I scheduled a session with a professional photographer or shot with one of my girlfriends.
