Hey Kevin great to hear from you! Yeah has been a long time, but so busy with the new shop you won't believe!!!!!!!! New shop ready around mid Dec, whilst old shop last week clearance sales before moving to the new one!!! When its all done its going to be WOW!!! ;)

Yep it gets REALLY cold in Korea..so you guys stay warm and stay healthy~ Wear lot of warm clothes when you guys get there...wouldn't want you guys to catch a cold~
Oh...and if possible take lots of pics for my hungry eyes....I've never been to Korea b4!

hey guys,

great job tonight!!!  glad i decided to stay in hong kong to check out your show.  sorry i had to run, i had to also drop by the lumina event afterwards.

i was thinking some more about your performance.  i'm sure you guys have heard this many times before.... since you guys are doing original arrangements of known songs, it seems like the two main variables that you have to work with are the creativity of your arrangements (like the william tell song) and the popularity of the original song.  overall, i think that it wouldn't hurt to mix in some more popular and well known songs into your playlist.  the best, in my opinion, are songs that the audience can barely control themselves from singing along with.

some songs i think would work well (some of these might be challenging to do a capella):

You guys should seriously try writing more of your own stuff. you are right I agree that good lyricists are really hard to come by. Also not only lyricists but original thinkers.
I love thinking outside of the box when it comes to lyrics. I really try to avoid the cliche "in or out of love" thing that plagues hongkong and pop in general.

My last song is about being addicted to online gaming via xbox. and our newest song is about having a girlfriend that no matter how good things are, wont quit moaning.

It's always good to find humourous subjects you yourself, feel strongly for and that a wide amount of people can also relate to. Being addicted to xbox and moaning girlfriends is something at least 90% of the male population definately have in common. If your vocals are clear, then people remember your song (I hope at least anyway)
so that would be my suggestion. If you wanna write about love, put a funny angle on it. Or write it in metaphors so that it's not just "love love love" I personally love writing about hates more. hahaha.

Although I'm not in a position to be selfless enough to spend time writing lyrics for other people (unpaid at least).. I'm happy to share ideas with you guys if you're looking for a different take on the current cliches. ;)

I normally do mandarin and cantonese songs, both writing melody and lyrics (but I'm stronger in lyrics and normally leave the melody and arrangements for my partners)

I would love to meet you guys up some time. Love to know friends in music, and may be can invite you to my gigs some time.

Metro is an international vocal group, originally hailing from the United States who have been performing all over the world for the past 10 years. Eric, Kevin, Sean and Cody are supremely talented individuals who present high-energy, unadulterated music comprising of their unique arrangements of the world’s most popular tunes.
