La que manda

(she who commands)

woman, existence orbits your ample hips

and lightly brushes against full breasts

in the flicking gaze of a gallant admirer.

craving, deeper than reason,

the force that draws him into your domain;

you, the inspiration,

the mystery,

the prize always just beyond reach.

font of springing desire,

mother of the unborn,

still asleep to the power you command.
