Joggers

I’m starting shooting “JOGGERS” today. The problem with these micro-budget projects is that everyone has day jobs and since one shoots during the day, working around everyone’s schedules is a nightmare. Arranging a dinner party is hard enough in Hong Kong, but getting eight people to turn up and work at various unsociable times of the day is a miracle. Luckily miracles is what I do.

This film is a dark dark comedy about a jogger tortured by her desire to be fit, as personified by the nubile Cat, a rather stern personal drainer, er, trainer. The end result is needless to say but say it I will, not as one expects, and certainly not me despite having written it. However, suffice to say, Snickers bars play an unnatural role in the proceedings.

If it doesn’t rain, turn brown with pollution, or some other unforeseen natural disaster wipes away the New Territories, we should have shot ourselves an exciting and slightly batty movie.

The beautiful Tammi Rhea, sexy Helen Norton,  er… bald Andrew Ng, and the forever gorgeous JuJu Chan star in this movie and so prepare to be amazed, bewildered and smacked in the gob some time in the new year when I shall finish editing it.
