Karen Mok Takes on the Role as the Goodwill Ambassador for the Hong Kong International Film Festival and Transforms into Four Different Characters|莫文蔚擔任香港國際電影節大使化身四個角色|莫文蔚担任香港国际电影节大使化

Karen Mok was invited to assume the post as a Goodwill Ambassador for the 33rd Hong Kong International Film Festival. Organizers of the film festival expressed their admiration of Karen’s acting performances from previous movies. On top of that, she knows many different languages and because there is no shortage of Italian films in this year’s film festival, Karen would be the most suitable candidate to be the Goodwill Ambassador as she had spent time studying in Italy before! Karen also expressed that she was deeply grateful for the invitation from film festival organizers and especially did a photo shoot for this particular event, producing a set of extremely exuberant promotional pictures that exhibit a great sense of film. She also personally invited professional photographer, Xia Yong Kang, and image designer, Wen Nian Zhong, where they collaborated and put together several possible styles. Everyone was very pleased with the resulting outcome.

The resulting styles include a 16th Century European gentlewoman look, a character similar to those from a sci-fi movie with a futuristic stylish look, the new French romance womanly look, and a neutral look; all of which abundantly reveals a cinematic feel that Karen has elegantly presented between the light and film! Karen greatly admires this set of photos and also expressed that not only will she be able to introduce even more top quality international films to people in Hong Kong, she hoped that as the Goodwill Ambassador she will be able to let other countries around the world be more aware of the hard work and efforts by the people working in Hong Kong cinema. Even though there are some problems with the economy around the world and the public desire to spend money has decreased, the public still need to find ways to entertain themselves. And the public is willing to support cheaper activities like, for example, going to the cinema to watch a movie. Karen also believes that within the next couple of years, the Hong Kong film industry will flourish once again. She hopes that people in the film industry will create even more and even better films for everybody to watch; everyone must continue to support Hong Kong made films!

這次的造型分別有如十六世紀歐洲淑女的打扮，另外更有如在科幻電影中的前衛型女造型，加上法國新浪漫女性造型及中性打扮，均令 Karen在光與影之間，充分流露出豐富的電影感！她自己十分欣賞這一輯照片，並表示希望這次擔任大使的身份，除了可以為香港朋友介紹更多外國的優質電影之外，也可以讓世界各地的國家更加留意香港電影工作者所付出的努力；雖然全球的經濟都出現了大小不同的問題，市民的消費意欲偏低，但是市民依然需要尋求娛樂的方法，所以例如去看電影這種較低的消費，反而市民會樂意去支持！她也相信這一兩年香港的電影業將會再度蓬勃，所以希望電影同業可以創造出更多更好地電影給大家觀看，大家要繼續支持港產片！
