Mok Mok’s General Knowledge Just for You (Part3)

22 commentsEven though a concert only lasts a very short few hours, I’ve always want to use the shortest time to present the most outstanding performance before your eyes. More often than not, I have to coordinate many different beautiful costumes and outfits to achieve this, but I really don’t want to go back stage and change my clothes too frequently because it wastes the time that I could be using to see you instead. What should I do then?
Well, I’ve finally found a way that can happily satisfy both sides. In <Extreme Karen Mok Concert Tour>, I thought of a way to use one outfit in various ways by adding different accessories to it, transforming into a variety of unimaginable outfits on the stage.
While singing <Shan Zi Wu> (Fan Dance), I appeared on the stage in a red shimmering Chinese style outfit. After a performance of song and dance, the dancers helped me peel away the umbrella shaped dress on the lower half of my body while I danced on the stage twirling in circles. Don’t worry - I was still wearing a pair of stockings underneath! Then at the sound of the gong, a Chinese opera style solo would mark the start of new section of song and dance; the dancers also helped me pull out the long sleeves concealed by my shoulders, and I started singing 《Ru Guo Wo Shi Li Bai》 (If I was Li Bai)!
Actually, this long sleeve shirt can change within itself! If I stripped away the heavily influenced Chinese style outer layer, a beautiful and sexy inner layer showing the traditional old-aged European style under garment is revealed. It’s something you never imagined, right? And my long legs are revealed even more! Haha…
Of course, the variety of outfits doesn’t just stop here. When I perform the sweet sounding 《Shuang Cheng Gu Shi》 (Double City Story), I have to change into something more loveable and adorable. So I added a pink gradient tutu dress to the lower half of my body, which instantly transforms my outfit into a beautiful and elegant ballerina dress!
In order to coordinate with the whole run down of the songs, the performance during the concert and the effects of stage lighting in the venue, every stitch and thread in an outfit is a result of hard work from me and my team! During this concert,《Karen Mok Hui Wei Concert Tour》, the costumes featuring in this concert will definitely be a feast for the eyes. Of course I can’t tell you everything now. When you come to watch my concert, you will see what I mean. What I can say is that the costumes I’ll be wearing in this concert is considered the most sexiest I’ve worn in a concert.
