UPDATE OF THE YEAR 2011

The year 2011 has been an intense and intresting and most important a busy time for me

here is the update what happend in my career at 2011

MARCH - APRIL 2011: THE RESISTANCE MOVIE

Beginning of the this year was a very happy time for me when the director Li Peng from Last Kung Fu Monk, re-hired me for his next film THE RESISTANCE, the filming took place at Ninghai Film Studio near Ningbo at Zhejiang Province, and also at exotic Tao Hua Dao Island and that island i remember most because after filming we got invited to eat dinner with the goverment of the island

the PLOT:  

In 1937, Japan began their invasion of the Republic of China by murdering over 300,000 civilians and disarmed soldiers in the capital of Nanking (Nanjing). Tens of thousands of women and girls are raped by soldiers of the Imperial Japanese Army in what is known as the Rape of Nanking. A treaty is reached between the Japan and China with the aid of the United States, but with the world at war, the genocideis unstoppable. An American reporter sent to report on the relations in China discovers the truth that the genocide continues and a Japanese plan of attack on US soil. When Japanese General Takeshi learns the reporter is about to blow both stories worldwide, the reporter's life is in the balances of justice.

In Beijing, there are rumors of a masked man systematically killing Japanese soldiers, working his way to the top officers. The General orders more barbaric killings until this masked avenger is either killed or surrenders himself. Will the reporter be able to get out alive to tell the story of the ongoing genocide taking place and warn the United States military of a planned attack on his own soil? Who is the masked avenger and will he surrender to the General, or will he rally the people of Beijing to rise with him and spit in the face of tyranny?

The ROLE: in this film i play the role of Commandant Schulz, sended from Germany to China to see the Japanese Controlling Nanking, while there he is invited to the Japanese General as a guest as partners of the Axel Pact.

JUNE - JULY 2011: PRESS CONFERENCE ABOUT THE RESISTANCE

in the middle of the summer in Beijing i got a call from Li Peng and he invited me to the press conference about his new film and it was intresting feeling, first they showed us the film as complete and then Li introduced me and let me talk about my experience and about the film then later it was nice dinner , a good PR for the movie

AUGUST 2011: CCTV GALA FOR THE ENVIREMENT

Next month  after having a long rest and alot of conversation with directors and agents, i got an invitation  to join a gala broadcast live on tv, the show was for the envirement, i held speach about the european envirement as a big celebraty singering in China held a song for the mother earth, also there were an irish singering and scottish dance team

SEPTEMBER 2011 part 1: THE RELEASE OF LAST KUNG FU MONK

the most wonderful news was the release of Last Kung Fu Monk on DVD at 6th September, after a long time working with this film and to hear its gonna be sold out worldwide made me almost to cry, it was a great experience to do this film and to play the villain of this charming movie i hope you all will enjoy it

SEPTEMBER 2011 part 2: NEW TV SERIE "I THINK FOR AN EMPEROR"

after the good news i got a call from my agent and heard a director for a new BTV serie wanted to have for an episode in the war story called I THINK FOR AN EMPEROR

the PLOT : I THINK FOR AN EMPEROR is a chinese version of BAND OF BROTHERS, its about a story of those who stand against the Japanese imperial invasion at Nanking, and those who struggle to survive for China during world war 2

epsiode 11: A Spy In Boston.

epsiode plot: Mr Wu works for the chinese embassy in Boston but his colleges suspect him to be a spy for the japanese, before they can spot him he and his body guards try to escape by kidnapping a chinese girl who has information of who he really is, meanwhile 3 american police officers ( Henderson, Murray, and O'Shea) has order to arrest mr Wu

Role: i play the role of  Officer O'shea, his mission is to find mr Wu and bring him to justice, when O'Shea stops mr Wu, he get interupted by Wus bodyguards and let him go

OCTOBER 2011: CONTINUE ON THE TV SERIE "I THINK FOR AN EMPEROR"

this month i thought i was going home, but then i got a call from the director and said i did a good job form that episode and asked me to play another role, same tv serie but a diffrent episode and diffrent character

episode 32: Western Conflict

episode plot: now US Army and Chinese Army has join forces to fight back the axel packed, but somtimes the rlations between the 2 nations are not easy, speacially wehn its about disrespect to other people, 2 american soldiers are out driving the jeep one night and spot a young girl and treat her brutally, and think they got away with it, but what they dont know is 2 old farmers saw the whole thing and will tesitfy against them but the US army cannot afford to lose any soldiers so a team i send to find the farmers and make them silent.

the ROLE: in this episode i play Private Collins, he is in the US Army, when he find the 2 farmers he try together with his team to hunt the farmers down with the jeep,wich turn out to be a dangerous drive

     

all in all i think  it has been a wonderful year, and i thank China with all of my heart for all the great chances they gave me, now i hope to get more contact with other countries in Asia, such as South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam,  and others
