As some of you may know, a few months back, I started an online campaign in hopes of seeing Jimmy’s return to the @fastandfuriousmovie universe. This included an online petition, which is currently close to hitting 9k signatures (you can still sign it at furious8bringbackjimmy.com) and a track/video called Dear Dom that I released on @vindiesel's birthday. Just search "Dear Dom Jimmy Rap" on Google if you haven't seen it yet. So what have the results of my efforts been? No word yet. I’ll be the first to admit that the idea of Jimmy returning is far fetched. Not impossible, but unlikely. Kinda like how Dom flew the Lykan from one building to the other in Dubai. ??? I guess in my mind, I just want to be able to tell myself “well Jin, at least you tried to do everything within your capabilities to make it happen”. The goal all along was to get on the radar of the powers that be and let them see that there are people who would like to see Jimmy’s return. All the support and kind words have been super encouraging and humbling especially considering "Jimmy isn't even an important part of the story" as some have mentioned. Exactly why it blows my mind that even after appearing in 2F2F 13 years ago, people still ask me about that experience and show love about it. Ultimately, as a @fastandfuriousmovie fanboy myself, I’m anticipating #Fast8 with or without Jimmy. ??? and now... back to reality..
