Ferrari Auction Charity Gala for 2008 China Global Philanthropy Forum

On October 16th, Jet Li attended an auction charity gala dinner hosted by Ferrari and the One Foundation in support of the 2008 China Global Philanthropy Forum, kicking off the partnership between Ferrari and the One Foundation.

As part of the "One Foundation, One Family" idea, Ferrari is in Shanghai not only due to its strategic locale and fashionable demographic, but also because it sees great potential in working with the foundation to promote corporate and social responsibility. For the auction, Ferrari donated exclusive items including signed F1 uniforms, gloves, caps, racing jackets and a trip package for two to the Ferrari factory in Italy. Michelle Yeoh's participation at the event boosted the success of the event even more and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the One Foundation.

During the event, Mr. Jet Li expressed his appreciation for the donors, saying “I swear that the donations will not be misappropriated. They will only help those who need them. Each donation unifies enterprises, clients and individuals to embody One Foundation’s core value of 1 Person + 1 Dollar/Yuan + 1 month = 1 Big Family. I hope that the Chinese Philanthropy will develop into a driving force as powerful as Ferrari cars.”

i invite you to be a muslim.there are more miracles.some of them is that we have a verse say that(i(god or allah) make the unblievers get them feel narrow as a human raising to heaven)that was 1400 past and now the scientist proved that when we raise to heaven the air percentage is lessed therefor the human will feel narrow because the air is lessed.well 1400 years past there wasnt a rocket or something like that.theres more and more miracles.i told you that to be a muslim.if u dont thats ok but i advise you to learn about islam maybe u will change ur mind and be a muslim

Hello and thank your efforts over the years who did martial arts. Please note that you as a myth Shayvlyn Temple and Chinese martial arts should not be useless in such films as Play. 很偶然看到了您的哲学观点，您对阴阳的对立存在的认识是深刻的，但对太极的认识有点武断。太极首先是独立不二的，囫囵为一的，并且是见一含三的（三生万物）；一分为二，只是太极能动性的一种表现，当然，也是太极的重要性质之一，但阴阳只是阴阳，是与太极有很大区别的，是不可以取代太极的。您的这种认识是很具代表性和影响深远的，但只局限于阴阳就容易深陷阴阳的泥沼不能自拔。万化归一，归的是太极，而不是阴阳。一己之见，无须介意，希望能够交流。

Born in Beijing, Jet Li began studying wushu (the Chinese term for martial arts) at the age of 8. After three years of extensive training, Li won his first national championship for the Beijing Wushu Team. Jet Li was selected by the government to represent the country in over 45 countries by performing martial arts at various state functions. The most famous, in terms of history, was his 1974 performance at the Rose Garden of the White House for President Richard Nixon, after he had just reopened American diplomatic relations with China. For the next five years (1974-1979), he remained the All-Around National Wushu Champion of China.

Shortly after retiring from the sport at the age of 17, his film career kicked off with director Chang Hsin Yen and Shaolin Temple. Today his film credits include Lethal Weapon 4 opposite Mel Gibson, Romeo Must Die, The One, Kiss of the Dragon, Hero and The Warlords. He most recently wrapped photography on The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

Li is a Red Cross ambassador and founded the One Foundation, a Chinese-based organization whose goal is to develop China's nascent philanthropy industry. One of the main program areas is to help young people cope with mental well-being and find a balance in life.
