Study new language

I do use English for my business but if I couldn't it won't be a big bloblem.

I heard that people such as living in HK should speak more than a few languages for their life.

But in Japan, the situation is different.

Living in Japan specially living in the provinces, I don't have to speak other than Japanese.In our region recently I see a lot of Brazilian and poutuguese though.

I think to start thinking learn foreign language need a passion. Well, exaggerated a bit but..I see many people quit studying without a passion and there are some people succeeded with a passion.

Actually my studying German in college was passionless

By the way,I am now stydying Mandarin. Do I have a passion? um...let's see.

I guess for now taking lesson of Mandarin is just a hobby.

There is a company thinking about business in china want me to help with flower design. but the story is still under planning, so my passion is sitll under construction... I enjoy studying it very much. Studying Mandarin I find so many similarities and differences that remind me of Japanese language has arraived over across the sea years ago from China.

仕事で英語を使うけど、しゃべれなくても特に問題はありません。

香港に住んでいる人なんかは暮らすのに2、3ヶ国語は要るっていいますよね。

日本では状況が違う。

日本で特に地方に住んでいたら日本語以外は要らないですよね。

最近はうちの近所はブラジル人が多いからポルトガル語は見かけるけれど。

外国語をはじめようって思うのには情熱がいると思う。ちょっと大げさだけど、情熱なくて止めちゃった人はいっぱい知ってるし、やる気まんまんでしゃべれるようになった人もいる。←韓流好きの人とか。

大学の時とってたドイツ語は完全にやる気なしでした（笑

因みに、今北京語を勉強中です。情熱は？うーん。どうかな。

今のところ私が習ってる北京語は趣味かなあ。

中国に出てる会社でフラワーデザインできる人を探してるって話をいただいてるけど、それもまだ計画中だから。

とりあえずまだやる気は目覚めきってないわ（笑

でも、中国語を勉強するのは楽しんでます。勉強していると日本語との共通点や違いがいっぱい発見できて、日本語って海を渡って中国からはるばるやってきたのねぇ。と歴史ロマンに浸ってしまいます。
