It's kind of strange, but for some reason we're getting WAY more support for Galleri from the mainland than we are from our home town.. Who knows why, but thats a much bigger discussion...
Anyways, on July 25th 2009, Galleri Magazine plus artists selected from Issues 1-4 were invited to take part and attend a major fashion show production held at the Jing Yuan Art Museum in Beijing.
The event, "The Art of Life", for multi-label brand SIU featured dance performances, an elaborate fashion show starring model Liu Dan and an exhibition of Galleri artists' work.
Galleri artist's in attendance were Scott Chan, Kalun, Ike, Emily Eldridge, David RE and Jesper McIlroy as well as Galleri founders Jay FC and Timon Wehrli.
Thanks to Ricky Lo and all the lovely ladies at SIU for the invitation and for making us so welcome in Beijing. This is just the start of many forays into Greater China for the magazine and its mission.
Check out the pics below and see the whole lot in the recently posted album

Had a bit of a marathon update session today, so check out the rest of the Galleri Magazine profile here to see a selection of images from the last G4 launch event, a closer look at some of the work from the Classy Dirty Exhibition, some of the pages from the G4 mag itself and an album of random press clippings that we've recieved this past year...
Plus Stephen and the boys at alivenotdead.com have done us proud as always and put the whole of GalleriFOUR into some cunning online PDF viewer thing - so you can flick through the pages almost as if it were a book. Plus there's the option to download the soft copy if you missed out on the real thing.
But wait! There's more... Yes, more.. Check out more images from the epic G4 launch event over at the Red Dog page
HERE and also at
HKCLUBBING.COM and
LIFESTYLE.HKThanks as always to everyone for supporting this project - please enjoy and we hope to see you again with a new issue in the new year.
Jay FC & Timon Wehrli
PS: Merry Christmas.. Ho Ho Ho...

Well we're just about recovered over here at GHQ after the truly epic launch party last night for GalleriFOUR... Over 500 people showed up to DADA Lounge to get an exclusive first view of the magazine, down some serious Belvedere cocktails and shake their bootys to some fine tunage courtesy of Simon Pang and the boys from Stattus.
A very big thank you to our sponsors - Belvedere Vodka, DADA Lounge and of course alivenotdead.com for helping to make this one of the best Galleri events so far... And thanks to all those that made it all the way to TST for the party and showed their appreciation and support! We love you all!
We'll upload all the pix of the night as soon as I can function normally and operate a computer.

Thanks to everyone who's already shown love and support for tonight's big launch event... The mags have arrived here at GHQ and look awesome, and we'll be spending the afternoon setting up the venue for the Classy Dirty Exhibition and party...
So to everyone who's RSVP'd - we'll see you down the front for cheeky Belvedere cocktail or two... And best get there early - we kick off at 8pm - it's gonna get busy and we wouldn't want you to have to stand outside in the cold..
Jay FC
Venue reminder: DADA lounge at the Luxe Manor Hotel, 39 Kimberly Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. (Nearest MTR TST exit B2). Check the Luxe Manor website for a map.
