78張圖片 / 575次瀏覽Photos taken in Hong Kong at the Sunbeam Theatre on April 7th and April 8th, 2009, during the shooting of “Red Nights” a.k.a. “Les Nuits Rouges du Bourreau de Jade” a.k.a. “Le Notti Rosse Del Boia di Jade”.
This fetish mystery thriller is written and directed by Julien Carbon and Laurent Courtiaud. The Cantonese Opera scenes are choreographed by Law Kar-Ying 羅家英 and the main characters are played by Carrie Ng 吳家麗, Frédérique Bel, Carla Brana, Stephen Wong and Maria Chen 陳霽平.

CANNES 2008 : ANTONY SZETO'S WUSHU

18張圖片 / 3077次瀏覽 / 5個評論Some photos featuring the main actors of Wushu, Liu Fengchao & Wang Wenjie + director Antony Szeto and producer Colette Koo, during the 61th Cannes Film Festival. The first series was taken on the beach next to the Hong Kong Pavillion on May 16th, 2008. The second series was taken on May 19th, 2008, after the press conference of Wushu, because I was not allowed to take pictures during the conference, since I'm not a professional photographer. Hopefully, I was able to shoot the whole thing with my video camera (coming soon) with martial arts demonstration by the two young actors + presentation featuring Jackie Chan, Antony Szeto, John Sham, Colette Koo, Liu Fengchao & Wang Wenjie. The last picture of Antony Szeto & Colette Koo was taken during the Red Cliff party a few days later.

I coudn't take a lot of good pictures cos' I was actually shooting with my video camera with one hand and taking pictures with my digital camera with the other one. So there will be another gallery of pictures (screencaps from what I shot on video) in a near future with more guests (Hou Hsiao Hsien, Nansun Shi etc...).
