Simon Yam becomes a film director for "Tales from the Dark"

Photos shot during the press conference of the upcoming horror film "Tales from the Dark". 6 short films adapted from Lilian Lee and directed by Fruit Chan, Teddy Robin, Lee Chi Ngai, Lawrence Lau, Gordon Chan and Simon Yam, who's in the cast as well.
Also starring Susan Shaw, Kelly Chen, Dada Chen, Phat Chan, Maggie Shiu, Cherry Ngan, Josephine Koo, Tony Leung Ka-fai, Lo Hoi-pang, Yuen Qiu, Lam Suet, Newton Lai, Eileen Tung.
It will be released in two parts in Hong Kong on July 4th and August 1st, 2013. Check out all the press con photos HERE
PS: A birthday cake was offered to Simon Yam during the presentation. It was really cool.

Hello Hong Kong!

Two weeks ago, I was not supposed to come to Hong Kong this year, but here I am again. Will cover for the French website Ecran Large (www.ecranlarge.com) one part of the Entertainment Expo Hong Kong during a week or so, including the FILMART, the Asian Film Awards and the beginning of the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
There will be two major events tonight: the opening of the HKIFF + the world premiere of "Ip Man - The Final Fight" and a AFA cocktail for Michelle Yeoh. Yeah!

Last year, I was invited as jury member - for the Asian movies section - at the 45th Sitges - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia (Spain), from October 4 to October 14. I was just suppose to watch movies, but of course I coudn't resist to bring my camera and shoot some photos and videos during some events when I had the chance.
Sitges Film Festival Co-Director and Programmer Mike Hostench getting his DVDsigned by Shawn Yue at the Sitges Hong Kong Cocktail (October 6th, 2012)With the support of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels, three Hong Kong films, "Motorway" by Soi Cheang Pou-soi, "The Viral Factor" by Dante Lam and "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate" by Tsui Hark, were screening during the edition of Sitges Film Festival.
