"The Legend of Bruce Lee / 李小龍傳奇" is a 50-episode drama series about the life of Bruce Lee will broadcast in China (on CCTV) just before the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. On November 19th, 2007, a conference about the show was organized in Paris. Producers Zhang Hua and Yu Shengli came with the main actor, Danny Chan / 陳國坤, to promote the event, and I had the opportunity to interview all of them (Danny Chan alone, then the two producers together) before the conference.

Hi Danny, I m waiting for more of your new movies, indeed, your acting is good and lively, at least I can say it is not easy to act and impersonalise famous actor, vide your acting I start to check wikipedia and start to do more survey of Bruce Lee and very much inspired by Bruce Lee as well as you, so I sincerely wish to see more you in next future, all my blessing and convey good luck to you as well.

I am a fan of Bruce Lee, thank you for your amazing performance and letting the whole world to know more about the one and only Kung fu master, he is indeed a legend... Born in Istres (France), Frederic Ambroisine studied mathematics, then filmmaking in Paris in his twenties. At the same time, he was also trained as a stuntman by the Figlarz Action crew (SCORPION, 36, BABYLON A.D., LARGO WINCH etc.). He started as a filmcritic in 2000 on the website DVDRAMA, which is now one of the most popular French daily e-magazines about movies and DVD. Since 2002, he also wrote in several French magazines specialized in Asian Cinema, including KUMITE, ASIA PULP, MAD ASIA and SCORE ASIA. At the end of 2003, Frederic started to work as a documentary director on the SHAW BROTHERS French DVD collection distributed by WILD SIDE FILMS. He interviewed hundreds of Hong Kong artists and did more than 60 short documentaries between 2004 and 2006 related to Shaw Brothers kung-fu classics, inlcluding THE 36TH CHAMBER OF SHAOLIN, THE ONE-ARMED SWORDSMAN, COME DRINK WITH ME, KILLER CLANS, KING BOXER, THE 8 DIAGRAM POLE FIGHTER etc. He also directed a few dozens of short documentaries about recent Hong Kong movies including the INFERNAL AFFAIRS trilogy, ONE NITE IN MONGKOK, P.T.U., DUMPLINGS, S.P.L., DOG BITE DOG... In 2006, he directed INSIDE HO YUK, his first 52-minute documentary (the other ones were 26 minutes or less). He’s now preparing his first musical documentary, ROCK 'N' ROLL GIRLS.
