Behind the scenes of "SAAVITHIRI"

This was my first day of shoot at the Arts House where KWAN HAN watched the trial proceedings of NARESH, accused of murdering RAMU. It was in fact my final scene in episode 5, which i did not blog about cos all i did was sit there. :P 

This was for the bribing scene, KWAN HAN's introductory scene ( the glasses were meant to mislead the audience i guess)

and in case you were wondering what that table is for...

...i have no idea either. The scenes at KWAN HAN's office were shot at some sort of spa/ alternate healing type place. So your guess is as good as mine.

We also first met JAYSHREE here for the scene that led to her ultimate demise.

(That's Norehan in the middle, our wardrobe/make-up mistress. She and i go way back, to our FIGHTING SPIDERS days. :D )

By far my favourite location was at Club Ratchada, for all the nightclub scenes

Apart from being air-conditioned and....

...having plenty of comfortable seats...

...the decor was pretty absorbing too. :P

That's Prakash, our AD, behind me. We worked together on "Doctor X", a 3G series some years back. 

Here we are standing by for ROOPA's dance scene...

...while Director Raja, gives her some last minute direction.

Another day at the club, to shoot the changing room scene, my wardrobe was incomplete but  we went ahead with hair/make-up anyway., which resulted in....

...this.

The shirt did  arrive eventually...or else it would have been a very interesting scene indeed.

Finally, here's JAYSHREE again. This time all messed up for the torture scene.
