I have enjoyed reading this book as a youngster and each time I talk to GOD, I often recall this book and how little Anna speaks to Mister God. Anna by nature is the inquisitor, the forever probing creature who likes to find a rhyme and reason for everything. I think in some way, I am like that too, aren't we all? Anyway, its a good book and taught me a few things about life that I never learn.

I asked why and I did not get the answer

I asked myself why many many times, why this why that... then I sum everything up as trials. Then I wonder why is GOD never answering my prayer? then I thought, well he has definitely given me alot of what I have now so he provides off the rack and not customised to my needs perhaps... so many unanswered prayers, but was I asking for too much? That is a question itself too.

I would love to believe that our GOD is GREAT and he hears me and will look after me.

Reduced tax "fantastic" for entertainment scene

The entertainment industry could soon see more performances and bigger acts coming to Singapore’s shores.

To attract these internationally—rated acts, the Government will reduce the tax companies have to pay when they bring in a non—resident performer, said Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

The withholding tax rate of non—resident public entertainers will drop from 15 per cent to 10 per cent for five years.
