I NEED Family.

My pastor sums up revival in one word… “Family.”

I’m sure revival looks like a lot of things to a lot of people and that’s totally awesome, but having a true intimate spiritual family is absolutely amazing.

I believe Satan hates family more than anything.

Everything that the devil schemes, is to steal, kill and destroy. All the different campaigns, propaganda and lies people are fed go against God’s will for mankind to be fruitful and multiply.

I love family because I’ve seen the power in it. When people come into an environment where they feel safe and loved there is healing. When a person’s needs are met in a loving family, the desire to sin is greatly reduced. When your cup is already filled with LOVE you won’t feel empty. If you don’t feel empty, and your cup is overflowing, temptation isn’t that tempting anymore. The need to be loved, affirmed, and secure is satisfied.

I have several friends who have quit alcohol, drugs, and smoking definitely by the power of the Holy Spirit. However, it was through spiritual parenting(discipleship) that their lives matured and they were able to sustain their victory over sin.
