Burn !

I'm having art classes with two kids from the neighborhood, it's almost like a practice before having my own. At the beginning I was trying to lead, recently I just let it go, it mean sometimes we have 20 minutes of not knowing where to go - boredom but as I'm telling them "I'm here just a technician helping two artists not a decision maker".  I think it's good that way because it opens new possibilities of what might happen.And it have happened that they started making models and... burning them.  After few small projects we end up building a city portion. I wanted them to spend a lot of effort on it to understand the value of destruction and in the same time the value of their own work. It's important  to liberate yourself from objects that you accumulate and suddenly you think  they define who you are - just burn them - 2010 it's over. Happy new YEAR 2011!!
