When I was about 8 or 9 years old I would get my Mom to buy me the latest Black Belt magazine from the grocery store. I remember the first issue I got had Sho Kosugi from Revenge of The Ninja on the cover. I later convinced her to order me some ninja stars and nunchucks from the martial arts supply store advertising in the back of the mag. Now more than 30 years later, in an era where the independent magazine can barely exists, Black Belt magazine is still around.
