  Sitting in a daze at London Heathrow airport on a 5 hour layover from New York on my way to South Africa for a long vacation after having traveling 3/4 around the world in less than a week. My time clock is f*cked right now. By the time I get back to Hong Kong I will have had traveled all the way around the globe. After pretty much working 14 months straight it's time for some me time so I'll be taking a little social media break for the next month. I love my job but being in the spotlight is tough for me so escaping all of that and getting back to the simple life is something I really look forward to.
  
  Speaking of the spotlight...I was reading an article here in the lounge on Megupload's Kim Dotcom and his recent arrest and I had a weird realization. In the past month three random but rather big news stories broke globally. There was the Kim Dotcom arrest( read article here), There was the "graffiti" artist, Daivd Choe, who traded art for Facebook stock that is now estimated worth $200 million(read article here) and then there was the Jeremy Lin-Liinsanity (you must be living in a cave if you don't know anything about that). The realization is that I have either met, worked with or am friends with all three of these people in no particular order. 1 degree of separation. All three of them are insanely talented people who were either forced to or chose to work outside the system to find their own success (even though Dotcom's going to jail I don't think we've heard the last of him). Outsiders whom I respect and admire and who've all popped majorly into spotlight in the past month. Is it a coincidence? Or is there more come? Too bad I won't have internet where I'm going to see what happens next. I might come back to some big surprises...then again maybe it's a good idea that I'm going to disappear for a while.
