  • Obama or Clinton?

Trying to make up my mind whether I should go for Obama or Clinton. I like both of them and I do believe they'll be a good president....I'll make up my mind.

The weather in Sanya Island has been rainy and cloudy....disappointing! Huayi Bros. will be having their annual new year party tonight, most people will arrive this afternoon and it'll be fun!

tell me about it!!  it's almost May, and i'm STILL undecided even after voting O in the primaries.

i wrote this a few days ago after the PA debate:
After two hours of watching Obama and Hillary (very civilly) go at each other live on national television, hoping that it would finally reveal a clear winner in my mind, i am more torn than ever.  It doesn't help that i've also been reading (slowly but surely) McCain's autobiographic memoir and it's hard not to truly like and/or respect the man.

Each of them appeal to me in such vastly different ways it's so hard to compare them.

Hillary -- a born politician (i'll leave that interpretation open for PC reasons), extremely intelligent (minus the occassional lapses in memory), quick to think and respond on her feet (again, minus memory lapses),  she's easy on the ears and doesn't make me squirm in my seat hoping she doesn't finally stammer something she "didn't mean that way" or that doesn't make any sense, and one cannot deny her the campaign slogan:  Experience.
my reservation:  do we really want to see another Clinton in the White House after 20 consecutive years of either a Bush or Clinton?

Obama -- charismatic, sincere, intelligent (minus the occassional wrong choice of words), plays clean (aka inexperienced) politics, reminds me of a Jed Bartlett -- a lot of heart, strong and consistent principles, but would have to rely heavily on his senior staff's experience and brilliance in leading a nation.  but again, undeniably lives up to his slogan:  Hope.  Change.  and given the status quo ... it would seem that's all we need.
my reservation:  that squirm i referred to above?  he's why i know how that feels.

McCain -- a born leader, charismatic, strong principles, consistent, and i don't know what his slogan is cos he hasn't really had to use it at this point.  but if i had to think of one, he's definitely standing by it:  Long live the war.
my reservation:  see slogan above.  and he's too much of a maverick.  also one other minor detail ... wrong party.

but all that said, i think they'd all be a positive change and i'd be happy with any outcome.

yo, after Bush?  we can only go one way.

lemme know if u figure it out.  think i'm leaning O.  my idealist at heart speaks.

I'm from the golden state and going back and forth with the same question; actually google both of them and base on their "resume", that's how I made my choice!!! In my perfect world, they would team up and we get the best of both world :-)  Just another comment, promise....I like your blogs, very real and down to earth!!!

As long as people get out and vote that's the most important thing.
