Interesting trend in several of the photo spreads you have shared recently--photographers and stylists trying to make models/celebrities look like famous celebrities from an earlier time. I wonder what this says about our celebs and models today--don't they have enough personality to inspire anyone on their own? I have nothing against the photos, technically many of them are quite accomplished and the art direction is typically right on for the concept, but I find it sad that stars today are so bland that they inspire nothing. Some of these photoshoots resemble that program where they take ordinary people and make them up to resemble celebrities. Maybe we have reached the lowest common denominator and the only way is up? I hope so.
