HKIFF... I love it man! This whole week--running and chasing all around for interviews. Nevermind the fact we getting no love this year (don't blame them though... they just looking at circulation numbers), it was still great, man. As a film geek, walking around Filmart put a grin on my face.
I got tickets to see The Good The Bad The Weird...it's this Korean Western that's heavily influenced by Eastwood's The Good The Bad and the Ugly...it's gonna be amazing. I know it.
I also wanted to catch all them classic HK flicks by Tsui Hark but all the screening times are during the day and I can't be missing work for that.
Now moving onto Coldplay...it was good to see the sellout crowd at AsiaWorld stand for the entire set because I like seeing people get passionate over music. I thought the set started amazing but by the end it got quite underwhelming. Chris Martin and crew also left out nearly the entire Parachutes album in favor for their later works... why? But all in all it was a great night. The Airport Express is super convenient and all, but when time's not an issue I love the bus ride to/from airport back to the city. it's relaxing and refreshing to be an open area with a view...
As for the L.... three things
1: I think it's funny that the Rockets are 16-4 without Tmac. Not only that, the Rockets will likely get out of the first round this year without Tmac. Which would be hilarious considering Tmac never could get out of the first round....
2: Give the MVP to Lebron already. It's done with.
3: Celtics/Cavs is gonna be quite a battle.
