First of all... WTF?!...How come nobody blogs around here anymore?
Why hello there, People! Thanks so much for the birthday wishes. Made me all kinds of warm n fuzzy.
Now...I'm gonna skip the whole "I'm sorry I haven't blogged" crap. However, I will say sorry for being a douche for not blogging. I blame video games and this beautiful creature...

That's our Jenny. I couldn't think of a more perfect name. Jenny's a lot bigger now....and she's doing this at the moment...

Hilarious cat, I tell you.
So, I just got back from Zhuozhou yesterday. I just finished my part in a movie that stars Donnie Yen. It was great to finally work with him. I don't care what people say...I think he's a sexy human being. Hard working. Punctual. Creative. Swears in Cantonese + English (fuckin' awesome, btw). Skilled in martial arts. If that's not sexy...I don't know what is.
In this movie, I play this dude who fights Donnie. I have a spear as a weapon:
I have no clue how to use this thing...but I had to pretend I do. Thanks to Donnie's stunt team...bumps/bruises on my head and limbs were limited.
Donnies uses this:

Thanks to Donnie and his awesome skills.... I did not get hit by this...mighty...scary...holyshitwheresmymom...hell of a weapon.
When you've been sittin' on your ass..playin' a lot of video games to the point you don't know the date and shit...and all of a sudden have to get up and swing around large dangerous weapons for at least 12 hrs/day.....that shit will suck. Also, gallopin' on a reeeeeeeeeeeeally fast horse for the first time...will make you wish you'd never had legs, a spine, and a sack of jewels.
I needed treatment. My body was in on the brink of collapsing. A massage would be fantastic! But instead...I did Gua Sha:

...and now I look like this:

To me...Gua Sha feels like somebody using a tiny iron on you..over and over. Repeatedly. For like an hour. It was the suck. Yes. The suck. I'm pretty sure I will never pick this over a massage...ever again. Ever. I want to cry.
Those 18 days felt like what bootcamp+rehab would feel like. Glad I'm back in HK now. My lovely Jenn tackled me as I walked out and I carried her to the end of the arrival gate.
Got home and had a Cake of Awesomeness:

That's not the name of the cake..but it should be. I was soooooo happy......I blew 2 candles out with my nose.
Thanks for a great birthday, everyone.
Especially....:

..just couldn't ask for more.
