Last night in Singapore, I helped "unpack" the newest addition to the Samsung Mobile range with the Jet.  The entire event was one amazing affair, and of all the product launches I have ever attended, this one is definitely one of the biggest and most memorable.  In fact, the similar event also took place in London and Dubai on the same day with even more countries to follow for introducing the Samsung Jet.
I am sure you are wondering why Samsung would invest so much money to promote this phone, but once you start reading the specs and understanding what it can do, I think you'll realize that Samsung is really excited about this bad boy.
In fact, I even flew to London last week to learn some 3D holographic technology for the presentation I did last night at the launch.  Actually, it was my first time to London so I was hoping to stay longer.  Unfortunately, it was only a one day affair, but I did manage to order up some carnitas burriotos at Benito's Hat, which wasn't too bad.  I didn't have high expectations for Mexican food in the UK so it was a pleasant surprise...and it's still miles (or should I say kilometers) better than Singapore!
I'm trying to get my hands on some of the video from the presentation I did last night so you can see how amazing the presentation was utilizing the 3D holographic technology.  Basically, I'm waving my hands around (like Tom Cruise did in "Minority Report") where holographic images hover and fly around in the air before the audience.  Pretty cool stuff.
I won't get into the specifics of the new Samsung Jet, but here's a press release which highlights some of the crazy cool features such as the 800 Megahertz application processor and AMOLED display if you wanna check it out:

I think to most of us, a phone is just a phone.  But the people at Samsung have really stepped it up a couple of notches in really showing me what you can really do with the most advanced technlogy for a mobile phones.  Looks like the time is ripe for that fruit phone to quickly harvest and whip out its newest version fast!!
