The Artists:

James Yang

Born and raised in Oklahoma, James Yang is now based in Brooklyn NYC. His works have been published and used by top publishers and clients including Amnesty International, NATO, The World Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank, IBM, Microsoft, Time Magazine, Bloomberg Magazine, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, HarperCollins, Herman Miller, L.A. Times, New York Times, Major League Baseball, Sony Records and Sports Illustrated. James has won over 200 awards for design and illustration, including 3 x 3 best of show (2010). James has taught at Parsons School of Design, Maryland Institute College of Art, The Corcoran School of Art, and The University of Maryland. In 2004, his first illustrated children’s book, “Joey and Jet” was released to critical acclaims, followed by “Joey and Jet in Space” (2006), “Puzzlehead” (2009) and web comic, “The Impolite Gentleman” (2014).

Aya Kakeda

Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Aya Kakeda is now based in Brooklyn, NY. She has produced art for books, products, posters, magazines, and store installations from clients all over the world.
Her works appeared in NIKE, Delta, Disney Hyperion Books, KidRobot, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Runners World, Nickelodeon, Noggin TV, Plan Sponsors Magazine, Men's Journal, Roger la Borde, Macy's, as well as galleries and museums throughout the world. She was awarded medals by Society of illustrators, SILA, and 3x3 illustration.

Jonathan Jay Lee

Based in Hong Kong, Jonathan Jay Lee has been published by Marvel Comics and Heavy Metal Magazine. Described as a mix between Eastern and Western styles of art, his clients have included HSBC, San Miguel, Red Bull, WeSC, Omega Watches, Infiniti, Lamborghini, Black Sheep Restaurants and Superga. He has been awarded with an Excellence in Advertising from the GCIA, '40 under 40 Top Young Design Talent' from Perspective Magazine, and has exhibited internationally from Tokyo to NYC. jonathanjaylee.com
