Alivenotdead.com is proud to announce the next major feature for our community, our new Events system. With events, users and artists can easily generate great-looking event pages for their next concert, movie premiere, or birthday party. You can also easily send out invitations to your friends and fans on alivenotdead.com as well as email invitations to other friends. It's a great way to get the word out and build awareness about your important offline activities.

Want to add your own event? Click New event in the toolbar at the top.

Why would artists want to post their events:

• All of your event information including date/time, location, contact information, and more is easily entered and presented within your profile.

• Easily send out email invitations to all of your friends and fans both on alivenotdead.com as well as via email to other friends.

• All of your friends and fans will automatically find out about the event when you post and will have the opportunity to RSVP in advance.

• Find out quickly WHO has RSVPd and WHO has viewed your invitations.

• Easily include OTHER alivenotdead.com artists and users as FEATURED GUESTS into the event and all of THEIR fans will automatically find out about the event as well.

• IT'S FREE! It's free to post event, free to invite people to the event, and for alivenotdead.com official artists, we will feature your event on the homepage.

Why would regular members want to create events:

• Are you a TRUE fan of an alivenotdead.com artist? Help us and HELP THE ARTIST by posting event information about their next concert, next movie opening, or art exhibition. All of the artists fans and friends will automatically find out about the event so it's a GREAT way to help build the artist's fan network. Just be sure to include the artist in the FEATURED GUESTS field of the event.

• Events aren't just for official artist events! Use them to create quick-and-easy invitations to your next birthday party, dinner party, or hangout night. It's free for anyone to use.

• Have a more 'private' event? Select the "Advanced Options" button and you have a plethora of options -- only show the event to invited guests, select WHO can RSVP to your event, and more!

GET STARTED ON CREATING AN EVENTAlivenotdead.com members: Help us and help artists on alivenotdead.com! Help fill out the concert tour schedule for bands. Let us know when the next movie opening is happening. Update other users on art exhibition openings. Help other members find out about artist events going around them by CREATING AN EVENT and include the artist(s) in the FEATURED GUEST field.
