Uncle Paul

Uncle Paul, a 80 years old Taylor who set up 'Fortune Tailor' store, providing good quality hand-made dresses services since 1970. Although 'Fortune Tailor' has already established a huge customers bases to support its business, Uncle Paul still keep on distribute his name cards hand to hand, outside the Central MTR Station near everyday. Uncle Paul siad:[They are all potential customers, giving my cards by my hand is the best way to let them remeber me! Right!?].

To be honest, the reason i find out Uncle Paul is because of his name card strategy, few weeks ago in Central MTR Exit D, a card from an old man with fine suit that makes me feel embarrass to refuse. I did decide to throw it away when went into the station, but after i read its contents, i am strongly appreciate and respect his attitude, therefore decided to interview him.

MADEinHK:[There are more and more already-made suits & fashions in local, do they impact your business a lot?]

Uncle Paul:[Not really, we do target different markets, our majour customers are graduates students, professionals and Gov officers. The most impact in recent years is the "Casual Wear Policy" announced by Mr. Donald Tsang(CEO of HK Gov)!! I hope he could release us!! Give us some space to survive!!................]

At the end of interview, Uncle Paul gave me a present for my effort on his story, which is 3 cool suits!! Special Thx to Uncle Paul!!
