Lumina - This show is set in Hong Kong and is described as a "dark, densely woven fantasy." The premise is there are different Realms that are almost completely separated, aside from those few that can see between them. The main character discovers this ability when she begins to see and talk to a stranger in a mirror and window reflections. She soon becomes enveloped in this alternate world until learning of its darker side. From there she must decide to press on with this person or give him up. The previews for this show look amazing. They are done in HD format so watching feels as real and natural as watching TV and may make you want to hook up the laptop to the HD TV. On top of this, the acting (from the preview) seems supurb and the backdrop of night time in Hong Kong gives credence to the "dark" part of the fantasy. The mix of action and a modern fantasy realm should bring in people.

The ten part series features an exciting international cast, including lead actress JuJu Chan (TVB People’s Choice Award for Miss Chinatown USA 2009), lead actor Michael Chan (star of the YouTube viral hit, Wall Street Fighter IV) and Vince Matthew Chung (winner of the Amazing Race Asia 3.) LUMINA is the story of a beautiful young Hong Kong girl who falls in love with a mysterious man she can only see in mirrors, only to be caught up in a whirlwind of lies and treachery.
