? On the last day of 2017, we concluded the "Paradigm Shift: Post-97 Hong Kong Cinema" programme with a free screening of MAD WORLD. Director WONG Chun greeted the audiences and said they (as taxpayers) are actually his "boss", the investors of this film. The film shows Hong Kong as a society full of fear, discrimination, and violence, but WONG pointed out these concepts only exist in adults' world while the child character in the film just sees the protagonist as a good friend. Wish this film could get the audiences to start thinking how to build a better Hong Kong in a brand new year. ❤️
