?【#電影節發燒友】紀錄片《#基格的暗黑國度》的導演貝蓮達莎倫，及溫特圖爾國際短片節（與Cine Fan共同策劃 #基格 回顧節目）的策展人安德亞畢曼，在上星期六出席兩場放映，介紹了《造魔者的世界——基格短片集》中各短片的製作背景，其中不少是貝蓮達拍攝紀錄片時，在基格大屋地窖發現的，她希望紀錄片能呈現基格鮮為人知的日常生活。

讓觀眾細味的，是基格說不相信死後有另一世界和不想再活一次，這和他作品穿梭死亡與探索重生的主題迴異，貝蓮達也感到驚訝，認為可能是他自覺生命將盡的一種自我保護。

? [#CineFan] Last Saturday, Belinda Sallin (director of DARK STAR – HR GIGER’S WORLD) and Andreas Bühlmann (curator of Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur) attended two Cine Fan screenings. They shared the behind-the-scene stories of each short film in GIGER’S UNIVERSE, most of which were found by Sallin while filming the documentary in the cellar of #HRGiger’s mansion. She hoped that audience could know more about Giger’s clandestine daily lives through the documentary.

What’s most interesting is Giger’s attitude towards death, which seems remarkably different from the theme of his art. Sallin also found it surprising that he didn’t believe in afterlife, neither did he want it; it might be a kind of self-defense when facing death, she assumed.
