Mamoru Hosoda, the Japanese anime master of the new generation, will meet Hong Kong fans for the first time ? #MIRAI, the first Japanese animated work ever to receive a world premiere at Cannes, will be the opening film of SummerIFF ? Featuring all of his acclaimed works: THE GIRL WHO LEAPT THROUGH TIME, SUMMER WARS, WOLF CHILDREN and THE BOY AND THE BEAST ? “Mirai of the Future: The World of Mamoru Hosoda” exhibition featuring his character designs, sketches of structures and re-created sets from his celebrated works. ??????Complete lineup will be announced on 23 July. Ticket sales start on 24 July.
