there was a group of people like this who tried to do a group bungie jump (like 5 people sitting on a giant sling connected to one bungee cord. it did NOT go as planned... the whole thing snapped and they all slammed into the water pretty hard... 'extreme' does not always mean extremely careful planning. :-P
