Debbie was born and raised in Hong Kong, but later migrated to Canada for college, eventually completing a degree in Marketing. Her entertainment career began on the beauty pageant stages in Toronto and Hong Kong, where she won a string of awards that brought her into the public eye. She subsequently became a recognised face, appearing in numerous TV commercials, product endorsements, as well as music videos with Andy Lau and Aaron Kwok. Performing opportunities soon came knocking as she starred in the KL TV drama "Homecoming 2", and appeared in a number of prime-time TV shows in Singapore such as AXN's "E-Buzz", "Phua Chu Kang", "After Hours", and "Shooting Stars". Debbie has fast become a regular face on Singaporean TV after hosting 3 Season’s of Arts Central’s weekly art program "Front". She was recently seen hosting Channel 5’s “Mind Your Beauty”, as well as SuperSports football reality game show “Carlsberg Man of the Match Challenge” for the Euro 2008 Championships.
