LA for a day.
I used to be in LA every single day.
I knew her streets; her back streets. I would do bad things and knew how to get away. Cops tried to follow me but they couldn't- cause I knew the way to shake them loose. When I come back I look at the development- or lack of...It's not getting prettier just more eroded. In need of a boost. Hollywood Blvd. is a street of runaways that carry canes. There's spit and shit on the Hollywood stars as they lay there all day.
Downtown is the place where things have mostly changed. I am glad because I used to go down town allot and be with the artists and hipsters. We had parties; but you probably missed it. We made noise and no one complained. Yesterday we made loud music on the streets of Downtown LA. The Detour Festival- and it was surreal surreal surreal. Nobody tried to stop us, and that was beautiful- to kick and cuss in the open air staring down a one way filled with people- sitting under the tree at City Hall. Nobody scared of getting in trouble. Just singing and dancing on Temple Street. All that happened only yesterday, when I was in LA again- just for one day.
