    Hi guys!!

I'm in a good mood today! Somehow i feel like today is the beginning of something new! Oh, I've also got my all-important-casting to go to. They made me lose 15 pounds 2 months ago for this

Now that I've registered to take the law exams (I've got to get my hk licence) I've got to juggle work and studies as my exams are in July. So there's the Diesel party which I've decided to pass tonight cos I think I'll go for COACH for see John Mayer. I guess I have to give some functions or I'd fail my exams! But all's good. I feel motivated somehow. Like I said, I am in a good mood today !

Anyway, my photos for Esprit Salon is finally out.

I think I look weird here.

  • When a girl meets her idol..

    Sunday, May 18, 2008 4:02AM / Members only

It was a pretty  mundane night in a private club and there I was minding my own business, sipping champagne until I noticed a guy who didn't quite fit the dress code. He was in a white t-shirt, pants and white sports shoes. He wore a cap over his long grey and was awkwardly swimming in a jacket which was quite apparently put onto him by someone else who thinks that he was standing out just a tad too much.

It took me one whole minute to figure out who he was. I can't believe that because I've watched 40 of his movies and a few of them, over 30 times! When I realised who he was, I asked my friend to introduce us and guess what was the first stupid words that rolled out from my tongue?

"  I've been watching your movies since I was 8 years old"

    and he went,

" Don't say that, you make me feel so old" !

I was sort of wishing that the ground would miraculously split open and swallow me up at that moment.  I mean after more than 10 years of wanting to tell him how much I love him as a legend, that's the best I could come up with? Oh well, I don't think he'll remember it anyway.

Maybe many would you have guessed correctly by now. Yes, he is no other that the ultimate king of comedy,

I was so proud when I saw this cover. You've got to love this Asian Hero.

So which is your favourite movie? I'll highlight mine in PINK. Warning: I might end up highlighting all!

    Filmography

I still like him after the broke into Hollywood and after he tried drama again in CJ7 but he's older cantonese jokes are still the best man

  • Sex discrimination

To think that I almost had to ask my parents' letter for permission everytime i fly over to HK and Macau. Why does my country even have ministers who would actually  come up with such a silly and impractical idea? Coming from a law background, I not only feel insulted but shocked to see that such a bill would even be thought of let alone proposed. I don't care that I am Miss Malaysia, I still object!

Malaysia shelves 'impractical' plan to restrict women traveling abroad alone

    AP - Monday, May 5

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - A Malaysian minister Monday shot down a colleague's plan to require women travelling abroad alone to carry a letter from their parents verifying the reason for their journey.

Foreign Minister Rais Yatim proposed the move over the weekend as a way of deterring the use of Malaysian women as couriers for illicit drugs, but the plan immediately drew criticism by women's rights groups as being repressive and ineffective.

Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar, who has final say on immigration rules and would be responsible for implementing any such plan, appeared to close debate on the idea Monday.

"It will not be practical," Syed Hamid said. "How can we ask an adult person to report to the mother or to her parents? They have to lead their own lives."

"We do not discriminate against women. So long as it is an adult person, it is within their right to travel anywhere," he said.

The proposal was born out of concern over government statistics that showed 119 Malaysians _ 90 percent of them women _ are imprisoned abroad for drug-related offenses. Most are aged between 21 and 27 years.

Drug traffickers who want to smuggle drugs into the European Union recruit Malaysians because they do not require visas for short stays there.

Rais said many women leave the country on the pretext of work or attending courses and seminars but end up working for international drug syndicates. He said a letter from the women's parents or employers would weed out genuine travelers from those involved in illicit business.

Women's groups said the idea was ridiculous because immigration authorities would have no way of identifying if a letter was forged or genuine. Also, they said it would be an infringement of human rights.

Syed Hamid, a former foreign minister, said the government will try to implement awareness programs to prevent women from being duped and will cooperate with Interpol to identify syndicates that use women.

"We have to create awareness so that they are not attracted by offers of handsomely paid jobs overseas unless they know the background of the person making the offer," he said.

I admit I love concerts, love movies, love everything about our industry especially when I'm in a good mood! I realised that I watched a few and never posted them up. There were the 2 Jay Chou concerts in Macau and Malaysia and the recent Richie Ren concert.

I seriously wanna be like Jay.2 hours passed like it was 20 mins. I wanna play the piano like him man. My mum and dad would be so proud. they sent me to piano lessons for 9 years and I'm nothing next to him. Jay went on with drums, bass.guitar, erhu and i think flute? Madness! Like Leehom's concert. Some people deserve to make it.

    Doing it the Taiwanese style!

I seriously couldn't accept how crappy I looked in the photo with Richie so I decided to post the one he took with my friend instead:p
