Bonfire Festival 2009

It was a night when a bunch of people who enjoy playing with fire came together to perform for the public. A Free event where their only means to keep themselves funded is by generous donation from the Audience.
Performers like Dai Zaobab (Japan), Fengshui (Singapore), G (England), Sean & Prisna (USA), Sari Sharina (Singapore) and Starlight Alchemy (Singapore) showed off what they could do and well, here’s what I captured from the night. There’ll more images after the jump so be prepared.
The first performance was by Fengshui.
Followed by performances from Starlight Alchemy of Singapore.
And the ever energetic Dai Zaobab of Japan made an appearance getting everyone in the crowd shouting “FIRE!!!!”
And the night ends with Sean and Prisna from USA doing their thing.
The night didn’t just end with these performers showcasing what they could do on the stage but also a jam session with all the performance coming together on the stage to just have fun!

Portraits: Fashionably Sultry Yvonne

The following are a series of photos of Baby Yvonne in a more fashion based theme. The shoot was done during mid morning when the sun was heading towards it’s high point resulting in a very flat and challenging shoot.
With the clothes and make-up style, I tried to gear the whole project towards the retro feel.
Sometimes, we do wonder how things might turn up if it’s done differently.
Doesn’t matter if it’s against the law or living by the edge.
We just have to try to be creative even if we have limited resources.

Was at the FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup recently, must say that I have no idea who is who in the swimming world but I’m not there to try and know the people there. Just snap some photos and sharing here.

There was this guy sunbathing in the nude at the beach.
Well, this little girl comes up to him, so he covers his private parts with a newspaper.The little girl says, ‘What’s under there?’ The man answers, ‘A bird.’
The girl goes away and the man falls asleep.
When he wakes up, he is in a hospital and in great pain.
A doctor comes up to his bed and asks, ‘What happened?’
The man answers, ‘I don’t know.
I was at the beach and I fell asleep after talking to a little girl.’So the doctor tells this to the Police, and they go to the beach to find any witnesses.
When they get there, they see the little girl the man was talking about.
So they ask her if she did anything to the man.She answers, ‘ I didn’t do anything to the man, but while he was sleeping, I played with his bird.
