    Thanks to everyone who came to our last Jazz Poetry Night at MELTING POT a few weeks ago last week and a sound spanking to those who didn't.shame on those who chickened out because of a mere typhoon.

    I would also like to give a special thanks to Candy Lo and her pianists for turning up at short notice and putting on a great acoustic act together with our resident sax/flute player Zane Massey and our resident pianist Mark Peter

    As usual our keyboard man Mark Peter and Zane provided superb backing for our featured poets Veteran Lau Kei Wai and Ben Mackie. then stunned the audience with an great improvised set. Elvin came back after a long absence and Franolo Jenn from Zapara perfromed her poems for the first time

    Next Jazz poetry will be on Tuesday 13th October at THE MELTING POT in SOHO (9pm to 11:45pm (but we might go later with enough encouragement) simply because it's such a superb venue. Anybody wanting to read or recite please email brinkreplies@hushmail.com or ring me on 97543054. to find out about our next one.
