Scarlet Skyrocket

After training to become an aerialist, she finally fulfilled her childhood dream and joined the circus. However her wild ways and partiality to temptation saw the circus leave town without her. Now with no money but some free time, she somehow wandered into the world of Burlesque. Here amongst the sequins and the sarcasm, Scarlet instantly felt at home… and has no plans of leaving anytime soon.

Scarlet’s signature style is to combine aerial and burlesque to create moody and sensual performances. Reviews have described her as “the best combined aerial and burlesque act” to have performed at Dr Sketchy’s Byron Bay. She has entertained audiences at venues in Sydney, Byron Bay and the Central Coast of NSW and performed in the ‘Burlesque Assassin’ in the Sydney Fringe Festival in 2010. She is also a choreographer creating the burlesque show ‘Diamonds and Pearls” in 2009 and is the creator of the Burlesque troupe “the Rocketeers” in 2011.
