Exposed! Rogue Lawyer

In the recent episode of , as mentioned in my previous entry, I played the sales assistant, Lynn Lim. David Rasif, the rogue lawyer, bought diamonds before running away from Singapore. And I was one of the jewelry shop assistants who served him.Took some screenshots from the episode. My manager & I were in the lawyer's office, making a jewelry presentation, and discussing prices with David Rasif. We agreed on the price of S$1.6million for the diamonds that he was about to purchase. You can see how happy we were. In my mind, I was already calculating the commission I would receive - thousands of dollars worth.  I guess my manager was pretty happy too.Especially when David Rasif came to the shop the next day, to inform us he had done the transfer, and the money was in our accounts.David Rasif is still at large today, and he has been on the run for the past 7 years. He's also on Interpol's Wanted List. I sometimes wonder why people would go to this extent for money - even giving up his family, his life here, everything he ever had. Is it really worth it?I guess there're different circumstances for everyone. Not that I'm validating his crime, but the temptations are always there - the difference is whether you act on them. That's why I like acting. Because I can make different choices & choose different, even criminal, paths in the stories I portray. I can live different lives. Maybe it's a slightly warped way of thinking, but I'm probably never going to be a prostitute, murderer, or a mafia leader's daughter in my real life, so why not experience all these lives onscreen, or onstage?
