OH, What a WONDERFUL WORLD for OUR PETS it WILL Be!

But I sincerely am.

CHAN KAH YEIN

 oozes humanity in her writings and is the author of 2 insightful animal books so far -

If you must, “Pawprints on my  Heart” and “Four Pillars of Kindness

“   can make us sit up and realize that there’s a wonderful world out there for pet lovers if only we know how.

In her own words, she says that

” This world is so imperfect,

Yet, if we embrace beautiful and wholesome virtues of kindness in our lives,

then we can create  heaven in this imperfect world,

She educates us on the 4 Pillars of Kindness:

LOVE, COMPASSION, JOY and SERENITY,

that all beings are subject to the same vulnerability and mortality

where all of us suffer from pain and eventual death,

And if we appreciate being loved and cared for,

Then it makes sense that we should extend our love to all beings boundlessly, unconditionally and without discrimination.

All things are impermanent.

All things will change.

The only way for us to reduce our own suffering and dissatisfactions in life is to accept this impermanent nature of reality and all existence,

and let go of our attachment to them.

But in the process of doing so, let’s all spread LOVE, COMPASSION, ALTRUISTIC JOY and SERENITY,

making life more bearable and more meaningful.”

Love me, love my pets, I often read.

 is more than the usual animal lover.

Her world weaves around a genuine passion to fend for hapless animals,

Whilst others just talked, she foundedANIMALCARE in Malaysia

, an industrious group dedicated to the welfare of pets.

It’s one bold move, but she remains unfazed and undaunted by occasional hazards along the way.

She relentlessly rescues and fosters abandoned animals with a zest.

If only pets can talk, then I’m pretty convinced that they’ll happily sing this song for us ….
