90年从夏威夷搬到上海的我，当年才刚开始接触一些中文歌曲也是在那个小学时期发现了崔健老师的作品。因为从小爱听蓝调和摇滚，当时我觉得特别兴奋能听到这么独特的华语歌。从《一无所有》到 《南泥湾》，那一张专辑的歌我都背下来了，而每天在家里跟着老师说唱着。我自己最喜欢的其中一首是《假行僧》, 一直觉得有一种潇洒与忘我的感觉，让听者进入一种人在江湖上漂泊的状态。这首对于我在听华语歌曲方面是有特别意义与影响的作品所以透过这次的翻唱我希望分享这个音乐记忆。透过另一种潇洒与忘我的表现，但用着同一股对音乐的热情去带给大家 《假行僧》。

I moved from Hawaii to Shanghai in 1990, and I just started to get in touch with some Chinese songs. I also discovered the work of Teacher Cui Jian in that elementary school. Because I loved listening to blues and rock from childhood, I was particularly excited to hear such a unique Chinese song.
