She was nearby speaking at Abington High here in Pennsylvania. My team leader volunteered us to sign in people. They had to turn away 2,000 people who waited in line.We were led onto the stage(we were expecting seats near the front).A few others spoke then Michelle came out I was right behind her.Unfortuneately I couldnt see her facial expressions but read the crowds expression said enough. It was pretty much the same speech thats posted here."About the little girl from the South who was crying because she wants to be somebody"But the part that I  related to the most is "how the bar is always being raised in this country?Once you get to that bar through hard work they raise it again again. So you can't get ahead"That part just hit my soul. After the speech she signed autographs for the audience and shook hands then came on stage.I just introduced myself and said to her I was creator of Obamarches here in Philly. She asked if there is alot of support for them and I told her "yes we get alot of positive attention."It was amazing meeting her.You left the event feeling good like "you wanted to meet everyone around you to share the love and positive vibes."

She has such a very strong presence and I can see how she gets the crowd pumped UP.  I would have loved to seen the whole presentation, seeing her blend a softer, easy going side up on the stage, too.  I believe her strength of character and message will shine through with her observations of the world in which we live.  Just like great music there is a balance between the crescendo and the diminuendo that brings up the excitement of the listener to that expression.  I will keep listening and see where her voice and message will take us.

Remember, dreams are not the sole province of democrats.  I am a republican.  I dream.  I started with nothing.  I was ridiculed and humiliated growing up for wearing clothes from Good Will.  But I dreamed.  It took me 12.6 years to work my way through college and grad school at night after the University of Iowa told me there was plenty of aid available "just not for you" (you see, I have blue eyes).  For many of those years I went without car insurance or health insurance.  But I dreamed.  Even though I knew the politicians in Washington who looked like me were forced to alienate me as they attempted to make up for the sins of our fathers, I dreamed - simply because I refused to be a victim no matter what.  Now, a few years later, I own my own money management firm, my words often show up in the Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek and I even spent Saturday as the guest on a nationally sindicated Chicago radio show answering callers' financial questions.  I mentor boys with "tough love" through church and give very generously of my time and money.  But sometimes I feel like democrats think it's government's job to love and to take from the "fortunate" (a.k.a. productive) in order to redistrubute to the unfortunate - and to a degree that's true.  But, government can't love.  And I certainly feel I can direct my wealth more productively and more efficiently than the government.  So in the end, even though many democrats may think republicans have no soul and do not dream, remember, you don't know our hearts.  You can question our methods, but please resist judging our motives.  We too love speeches like Michelle Obama's with its call to action and call for change, but many of us just see change as an individual responsibility and not the responsibility of elected officials.

A speech like this goes beyond a political race if you really think about it.Its inspiration to ALL people no matter what age you are. These words should be "an anchor in your heart and mind"

Talk about a tearjerker. I can (as so many others can) relate so much to what she's talking about!
