Eric Mar to Kick Off Campaign for San Francisco Supervisor

Longtime Richmond District resident, parent, teacher, lawyer and San Francisco school board member Eric Mar will kick off his grassroots campaign for the San Francisco Board of Supervisors this Saturday, June 28, from 1- 3 p.m. at the Argonne Elementary School Auditorium, 18th Avenue at Cabrillo Street.

“I am running to represent the Richmond District and the city of San Francisco on the Board of Supervisors because I love this city, I love this neighborhood and I will work with my fellow San Franciscans to move this city forward!”

Speakers at the event will include Supervisor Jake McGoldrick, Jesse Fink, President Clement Street Merchants Association, Conny Ford, Vice President San Francisco Labor Council, Susan Solomon, Teacher and Representative of United Educators of San Francisco, Sandra Lee Fewer, Director of Parent Organizing, Coleman Advocates for Children and Youth and Longtime Democratic Party Leader Jane Morrison.  (*organizations listed for identification purposes only)

A diverse cross-section of over 100 community members – from renters to homeowners, neighborhood merchants, teachers, city workers, crafts people, professionals, seniors, children, youth and families – will help Eric launch his campaign to serve the best interests of San Francisco and the Richmond.

“Ours is a community, grassroots campaign to bring independent, responsive and effective leadership to the Board of Supervisors in this year of change that is sweeping across our city and our country.”

Join Eric for an afternoon of neighborhood empowerment, food, entertainment and other festivities. For more information, contact Gordon Mar at the Eric Mar for Supervisor campaign, (415) 505-2961.
