This is it... the blog that many of you (OK maybe 2 or 3 of you) have been patiently waiting for... the story you are about to hear is 100% the truth.... can you handle the truth?!
January 16th... I was set to land back in Hong Kong from my month back in NY for the holidays. Before my flight, I was given a few sets of advice on how to beat the jetlag... a couple of them involving going to GROUNDED that night and partying like a rockstar. So in the end I decided to take that piece of advice a...Read more
That's right! I caught word from the AnD banner ads, and other sources, of the grand t-shirt giveaway taking place yesterday at the Diesel store.
Anyone who knows me should know that there is very little I wouldn't do for a cool free t-shirt. Corporate assassinations, seducing wealthy elderly women, hacking complex computer systems...Read more
Karaoke... an art form respected and appreciated across all of Asia more than any other place in the world. But on one particularly cold Thursday night in January, it was Chinatown, NYC that would once again hold the title of Karaoke Capital of the World.... for it was there that the karaoke master, Joe Fiorello, and the Shaolin monks of the West... UNITED.... AND ROCKED... THE MIC!
After all the hype and fanfare, I finally got to watch the James Cameron's long awaited technical marvel Avatar this past Sunday morning.... for the second time. It rocked the first time I watched it on the decent sized 34th Street theater IMAX screen and still rocked when watching it the second time on the big Lincoln Center theater IMAX screen.

The other day I ventured out from my little Lower East Side hideout for a bit of lunch and adventure with a good buddy, Jen. A friend since High School, she was instrumental in helping me get things on track this summer and putting together the long awaited world premiere of my film My Stuffed Animal is a Monster this last September.
We selected the corner of 4th Street and 6th Ave for our meeting spot, not too far away from my old NYU stomping grounds. I decided to take a few pics of NYC scenery while ...Read more
Hey people, I know I've been a little behind with blogging and I know you've all been chomping at the bit to hear more of my exploits back in NYC.
So for the last week and a half I've been calling the Lower East Side homebase while staying in the city. For those of you unfamiliar with Manhattan's Lower East Side, watch Scorcese's Gangs of New York and you'll get an idea of how LES looked like 150 years ago.
It's much safer now.... or so I thought. I go walking one day out of ...Read more
A very Happy New Year to all friends, fans, and people randomly passing through! Hope all of you out on the Far East Coast were having a blast 13 hours before I was ringing in the new year on the East Coast.
That's right, I was back in NYC to visit family and friends. This year's party place of choice was Stay Lounge in Manhattan.
Here's the view from cozy little spot we found right by the DJ booth.
Hey everyone in AnD land! Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I've been having a merry one, although I'm completely exhausted. Haven't been sleeping too well the last few days. Each night seems to be different, but my sleep depreviation has been seeming to boiled down to a combination of at last a few of the following factors:
Excitement over Christmas coming
Nightmares about being surrounded by deadly spiders
Limited intenet access. Even my blackberry internet access is kaput. Using dial up. Argh! So only a quick update....
I've been making trips back to the writing table in between moments of holiday merry making and such. I'm working on writing a new draft of my screenplay "Lynette," a story of assassins, vengeance, crime syndicates, murder, death, mayhem, furniture made from corpses, and trying to find true love in the middle of it all. I've writen out the first 13 pages or so and have been outlining ...Read more
