Tokyo day 3

Day 3: Tsukiji Fish Mkt, Asukasa (Sensoji shrine), Akihabara (electronics), revisited Harajuku,

Tsukiji Fish market which has early tuna auction at 5am, but im just there to try their fresh sashimi and sushi

 

One of the most expensive breakfast...ard SGD 60 for sushi platter and ala-carte. Surprisingly SG's Sushi Tei and Kuishin-bo's buffet doesnt lose to this in the tasting dept. At least Kuishin bo has unlimited huge snow crab legs to eat, and Sushi-tei has good variety of jap foods.

 Tamago: saw a 'shifu' making it this morning and almost wanted take a video of him making the egg, but scared he would be offended.

Second stop: Asakusa with its famous Sensoji shrine

Spotted and managed to capture a shot of a cosplay-like dressed gal, they seem to be in a world of their own

whereas this below, is not cosplay...it's worn this season before it's out, i think?

 

Got a kimono, (always wanted to own one) but from a different stall, happy =)

Tried Macs in Tokyo. Surprisingly the beef burger pales in comparison, but the chicken was ok.

 

3rd stop: Akihabara (electronics)

 didnt stay long there since can just buy in SG

Last stop to cover was Tokyo Metro Govt blding for bird eye's view of Tokyo 45th level.

 

Day & night views

 

Supposed to see Mt Fuji on a clear day on the right as per diagram, but it was misty as u can see on the left.

Surprisingly Singapore's night views doesnt lose to this as the city skyline is colourful due to the recent developments.

 Only cafe and souvenir shop there

Final stop: revisited Harajuku since tat nite most shops were closed

 

Maid and other cosplay outfits, after sales cost more than SGD100!

 Many italian eateries sprawl in Japan. Shared lasagne, pizza and cheese fondue. Cheese overdose heh
