With 7 years of experience in music production, JC aka J-Phonics understands what the masses want when it comes to music. With an ear for what will captivate the listener, his tracks will make a very memorable impression on you after listening just once. Starting out as a DJ, he slowly learned what type of sounds made people "tick" and naturally he began to get gravitate toward the production aspect of music. With his deep passion for music production, he gets involved in every aspect of production: from creating the musical aspects of the beat, to getting together with writers to formulate ideas, to sitting in during the recording session, to the mixing; he has had experience in it all. JC has worked with various artists locally and internationally; taking full advantage of having a bi-lingual background. In 2006 he placed his first track on Melody Yeung's debut album "Mel" on Machi Entertainment. The following year he produced 3 more songs for Machi's rap supergroup San Jiao Koo. One of which became the second single (San Jiao Koo). Along with Machi he has also worked with super producer Terry Tye Lee. JC has recently signed with Cooti Studios in Los Angeles and is currently working on various projects with them.
