Swipe for more behind the scenes action of “That One TV Drama That Never Ends”, heavily inspired by all the Taiwanese Hokkien dramas, Hong Kong dramas, and Channel 8 shows I grew up watching (some against my will). Now out on @sgagsg! . ?: @dennistehhh . I was pretty terrified going into my first higher-scale production as a writer and director. And to add to that, I had such a terrible cough on set that every so often I would literally croak “action”, hold the itch in my throat until the actors finished their lines, then muster up whatever voice I had left to say “cut”, before breaking into a coughing fit. I had my own little “sick corner” with a packet of tissues and a bin and my flask of hot tea. And my mask. It was not a pretty sight. . But I was blessed with a cast who so generously gave every scene what it was worth, a crew who wholeheartedly got behind my vision despite my lack of experience, and a huge post production team that included people not originally assigned to do edits chipping in to ensure we used the right music, the right effects, the right pacing etc to make this video the best that it could be. . I’m so thankful for all these people who were so committed to telling this story with me. I know the credits list at the end zooms by pretty quickly, but this is one of the few times you actually get to see the names behind the video. Enjoy!!
