These past few months I've been learning about hidden knowledge, ancient histories, consciousness etc. My mind is being blown to bits when I make certain discoveries and insights. Much of the solution is winning the battle that's within ourselves. Be aware of the whats and whys of what we do. Who knows what's gonna happen during these days of Consciousness Wars. Just be prepared and have no fear. One of the people I had to study in high school was "Malcolm X". The quotes below (from Malcolm X in the '60s) seem to be relevate to what we're dealing with today. The cycle continues. Be strong stay blessed.

In my opinion, this message is "too strong". Liberation of our minds is from taking the inner journey.  But, still respect what he's saying from the context of the times he lived in.

I think that picture of Malcolm X holding the gun is amazing but really doesn't represent what the man really stood for. One must read the biography or see the Spike Lee movie to get a better picture.

All the matyrs of those days, the heroes, were pawns in power game.

So, because our technology is moving so fast, many are lost in the speed and so there is a shift towards spirituality. I totally feel people need to discover their spirituality and step up to a next level of intelligence and consciousness. I think Malcolm X was definitely on this path.

I am sure Malcolm was a nice man......just probably gone a little too far in his thinking. For anyone pursuing 'freedom' so to speak, they must be very careful not to overstep those boundaries as a person, cos the moment you pick up a gun....that to me becomes extremism.....As the Buddha said 'The string must not be too loose,  nor must it be too tight, otherwise it will not play properly'. ;))

Then again during his life at his time there was a lot of strife.......the racial tensions during that time were very high (still are today, but not as apparent), and I don't blame him for picking up a gun then (to make a statement). But it's just not the right or coolest thing to do....

As a lifelong 'spiritualist' so-to-speak, I always look at things from a spiritual perspective, and try to determine things in our life spiritually, if there is real purpose and meaning to what is happening in our world. And what I've seen is that with each successive generation of people, there have truly been, different lessons for our race that each have learned. Our previous generations for example have had to cope with war and famine, racial stigma and discrimination (just look at Yip Man who battled the imperialist Japanese during their occupation of China). Whereas today we are enjoying globalised trade and communications and a progressively friendly global atmosphere with people travelling/making friends the world over, we no doubt, owe a good part of this development to them, for having paved that path for us. For if it wasn't those brave souls who sacrificed their lives and stood up for what they believed in, we wouldn't be where we are today.

Saying that, I believe we still have a long way to go, as a race. What we still have not solved are things like shared prosperity, resources and responsibility (for the condition of ourselves and the Earth). If I have time, I might elaborate a little more on this on my blog.

In the meantime I would suggest if you want to find out more about the spiritual aspects, to look up Doreen Virtue online, and find her talks on Indigo and Crystal Children. There's a lot of truth in what she says and t's really interesting stuff!

I think Malcolm X unfortunately is often classed as a violent man and therefore Martin Luther King was often more respected and much more welcomed. It's sad though, I think Malcolm got pushed to far, and sometimes people feel the need to resort to violence when the subtle route fails.
